Annual billing
Both Family (£99/year) and Heritage (£149/year) are available as annual plans — saving you about 17% compared to paying monthly. Annual is a commitment to the tier for a year; we honour that by not pressuring you to upgrade mid-cycle. Your archive stays exactly as you’ve built it.
Care homes and organisations
NICE guideline NG97 recommends reminiscence therapy for consideration in people living with mild-to-moderate dementia. NICE Quality Standard QS50 (Statement 2) extends that umbrella into care homes more broadly: it recognises the use of life history as a way to maintain residents’ personal identity and mental wellbeing — whether they have a dementia diagnosis or not. NICE QS137 (Statement 3) further recognises one-to-one activities delivered through media as a way to support social participation in older people at risk of decline in mental wellbeing.
CQC inspections look at whether care settings deliver NICE-recommended activities and meet the applicable Quality Standards as part of person-centred care. Memrease is a way to deliver one of those activities every day, for every resident, through their own family’s voices.
Memrease extends the life story practice care teams already know — Alzheimer’s Society’s This is Me, Dementia UK’s life story books, the Northern Ireland best practice manual — into a daily, digital, family-curated form. Staff can curate alongside the family or carry the work where families aren’t available.
The Cochrane evidence base for reminiscence therapy shows benefits for communication, mood, and quality of life in care home settings, with no evidence of harm. Memrease is a wellbeing companion designed around that practice — not a medical device, not a clinical intervention, not a substitute for professional care. The fuller picture is at /the-practice.
Practically: Memrease offers per-resident pricing for care homes, nursing homes, and other care settings. This includes a staff curation role, admin dashboard, and seamless resident onboarding when someone moves into care. Contact us at hello@memrease.com to discuss.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time. Monthly plans end at your next renewal; annual plans end at the close of your committed year — but if cancelling sooner is what you need, tell us and we’ll refund the unused portion. Either way, your library and memories stay accessible for 90 days after cancellation.
Within the first 7 days of your first paid subscription, monthly or annual, change your mind for any reason and we’ll refund you in full — no questions asked.
If a family member passes away, we know subscriptions aren’t the first thing on your mind. We’ll reach out to the billing contact with three calm options: continue Memrease for the rest of your family, pause it for as long as you need, or cancel and we’ll refund the unused portion of the current period — monthly or annual. The default is continue; we won’t change anything without you asking. Whatever you choose, your archive is preserved.
